Scent notes

Balsam Fir opens the way a fir bough does when you break it - sharp, cold, green. Underneath it there is dry cedar and the faintest trace of woodsmoke, which keeps it from reading like a holiday air freshener. It fills a bedroom or a small living room without crowding it.

• Top: cold pine needle, cut fir
• Heart: dry cedar, juniper
• Base: faint woodsmoke, resin

How to use

Trim the wick to a quarter inch before every burn. Let the first burn run two to three hours so the wax pools to the edge. Keep single burns under four hours and the 80 hours will hold.

Why amber glass

Amber glass shields the scented oils from light, so the fragrance holds its character through the whole burn. When the candle is done the jar washes out and works as a brush cup or a small vase.
