The Cessna Skymaster, specifically the Cessna 337 Skymaster, is a unique twin-engine, high-wing aircraft known for its centerline thrust and "push-pull" engine configuration. It was designed to address safety concerns associated with conventional twin-engine aircraft by eliminating asymmetrical thrust. This design makes it easier to handle, especially in the event of an engine failure, compared to traditional twins. A total of 2,993 Cessna Skymasters were built across all variants, including both civilian and military versions. This includes 513 military O-2 Skymasters. Production of the Skymaster took place between 1963 and 1982. Because of the unusual engine configuration the aircraft is sometimes affectionally referred to as a 'Push me Pull you'
