Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk

The TA-4J is distinct from the single-seat A-4 Skyhawk variants that were used extensively in combat during the Vietnam War, Yom Kippur War, and Falklands War. The TA-4J's primary purpose was training, though it could simulate enemy aircraft in training exercises due to its maneuverability. A total of 226 Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk aircraft were built according to Aircraft Information.info. Many more TA-4J aircraft were converted from existing TA-4F airframes, with some sources stating a total of 555 two-seat trainer variants were built or converted. The TA-4J was a two-seat trainer version of the A-4 Skyhawk, with its offensive weapons systems removed.
