Evergreen International Boeing 747

The Boeing 747, also known as the "Queen of the Skies," is a wide-body commercial airliner that revolutionized air travel. It was the first wide-body aircraft and the largest passenger airliner for many years. Production of the 747, which began in 1967, ended in January 2023 with the delivery of the last 747-8.

Evergreen International Aviation, Inc was a global aviation services company based in Oregon, known for its cargo airline, Evergreen International Airlines. It had significant ties to the CIA, operating contract freight services, and carrying out missions for the U.S. military and other government agencies. The company also operated the Evergreen Supertanker, a modified Boeing 747 used for firefighting. Facing bankruptcy and tax investigations, Evergreen ceased all aviation-related operations in 2013 and shut down in 2014.
