Replacement cleaning head for the Grill Rescue Ultra, in red. This is the pad with the scraper built inside it, which is what makes the Ultra different from the rest of the range. The scraper is not an edge along the front of the head that you have to angle the brush to use. It sits within the pad, so as the head travels along the grate the scraper conforms to the shape of the bars underneath while the aramid pad closes around them and collects the grease and grime it breaks loose. Hard residue and soft residue come off in the same movement. Fitment matters more than anything else on a replacement head, because the wrong one simply will not clip on. This fits Ultra handles. The pad is aramid fibre, the material firefighting gear is made from, which is why it holds its shape against a fully preheated grate rather than matting down. Cleaning is done with steam: dip it in water and wipe the hot grate. No chemicals, no sprays, no wire bristles. Safe on cast iron, stainless steel, porcelain and ceramic grates. It is dishwasher safe. The red colour is there for a practical reason: if you keep more than one handle in rotation it lets you tell heads apart at a glance.
