Hughes 500C

The Hughes 500C, also known as the MD 500C, is a light, single-engine turbine helicopter. It's a civilian version of the Hughes 369 military helicopter and is known for its versatility and maneuverability. Over 700 Hughes 500C helicopters were built between 1972 and 1977. The Hughes 500C was a variant of the Hughes 369 series, which was developed for the US Army's Light Observation Helicopter competition. The 500C was certificated in 1972 and produced until 1977.
