MIG-25

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25, designated "Foxbat" by NATO, is a Soviet-era supersonic interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft. Renowned for its speed and altitude capabilities, it was first introduced in 1970 and remains one of the fastest military aircraft ever to enter service. A total of 1,190 MiG-25 aircraft were built. Production of the MiG-25 family, including interceptors and reconnaissance variants, took place from 1969 to 1984 at the Sokol Aircraft Building plant.
