Pan Am Express BAE Jetstream 31

The BAE Jetstream 31 is a turboprop airliner originally developed by Handley Page, but later produced by British Aerospace (BAe). The aircraft's development dates back to the mid-1960s, with its first flight as the Jetstream 31 taking place in March 1982. An enhanced performance version, the Super 31 (sometimes known as the Jetstream 32), was certified in 1997. A total of 386 British Aerospace Jetstream 31 and 32 aircraft were built.

Pan Am Express was a brand name used by Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) from the early 1980s until Pan Am's demise in 1991. It functioned as a code-sharing passenger feeder service, with other airlines operating regional flights on behalf of Pan Am. 
The service was established to connect passengers from smaller locations to Pan Am's main hubs after Pan Am acquired National Airlines in 1980 and gained a domestic network. Initially, Pan Am Express used contracted airlines operating narrow-body jets or turboprop aircraft, including Air Atlanta, Emerald Air, Empire Airlines, Pacific Express, Presidential Airways, and Republic Airlines.
