Piper Seminole

The Piper Seminole is a twin-engine, piston-powered training aircraft known for its use in multi-engine flight training. It's a popular choice for flight schools due to its reliability, stable handling, and features that ease the transition from single-engine to multi-engine flying. A total of 1,000 Piper Seminole aircraft (PA-44) have been built, according to Piper Aircraft. This includes both the original production run and subsequent reintroductions after periods of inactivity. Production was initially paused in 1982 after 361 Seminoles and 87 Turbo Seminoles were built, with a restart in 1988 that added 29 more non-turbocharged versions. The aircraft was reintroduced again in 1995, and has remained in continuous production since then.
