Sikorsky S-76C

The Sikorsky S-76C is a medium-sized, twin-engine commercial utility helicopter known for its versatility and reliability. It's used in various roles including offshore transportation, executive transport, search and rescue, and air ambulance services. The S-76C+ and S-76C++ are upgraded versions with enhanced features like more powerful engines and improved performance. A total of 191 Sikorsky S-76C and S-76C+ helicopters were built. The S-76C++ variant had an additional 214 units produced. This brings the total number of S-76C series helicopters produced to 405.

The King’s Helicopter Flight is part of the King's Private Secretary's department of the Royal Household, and is tasked by the Royal Travel Office at Buckingham Palace. Known as The Queen's Helicopter Flight (TQHF) until the death of Queen Elizabeth II, it is currently based at RAF Odiham and operates two Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopters.
