SMART GAC Water Filtration System reduces & removes harmful contaminants using our special house blend known as SMART Multimedia. These customizable systems come with pre and post-filters and can also be paired with a water softener to take care of any hard water problems.
Crystal Quest® Commercial SMART Filters differ from GAC Filters in that they contain our 2 types of Eagle Redox Alloys® to prevent bacteria growth and extend the life of the Granulated Activated Carbons (GAC). Without our 2 ERA's there is a chance of bacteria growth.
Smart Multimedia filtration is a proven design concept; the coarse media layers in the top of the tank trap large particles, and smaller particles are trapped in the finer layers of media deeper in the filtering bed. The result is highly efficient filtering since removal takes place throughout the entire bed. Smart Multimedia filters typically remove particles 5 to 15 microns in size as opposed to a conventional single media sand filter which will remove 30 microns or higher.
SMART Multimedia has an extended useful life span replacement need varies depending on system size and consumption combined with inflow water conditions the cost of filtration will be less than a penny per gallon!
