Swissair Boeing 747

The Boeing 747, affectionately known as the "Jumbo Jet" or "Queen of the Skies," is a wide-body commercial airliner that revolutionized air travel. First flown in 1969, it was the world's first wide-body aircraft and held the title of largest passenger airliner until 2007. Boeing produced over 1,500 747s, with the final one delivered in 2023. 

Swissair was the former national airline of Switzerland, operating from 1931 to 2002. It was known as the "Flying Bank" due to its financial stability and was a symbol of Swiss national pride. Swissair was grounded in October 2001 and officially ceased operations on March 31, 2002. The last flight landed in Zurich on April 1, 2002.
